« You Got That Right | Main | Week Seven - Lean and Mean »

October 13, 2007

Alright sportsfans. Week Six. We are just hovering above the .500 mark and - well let's just say certain analysts here around the CommonPrejudice's home office should probably be going over their resumes during their spare time. They very well may need them soon.

So we're a little pressed for time this week, with all work we were doing for the Nobel Committee during the selection of the Nobel Peace Prize so let's get right to the picks, shall we.

Carolina +4 at Arizona
Go with the quarterback who isn't quite old enough to get a discount on his monthly bus pass.
Cardinals
St.Louis +9.5  at Baltimore
Getting nine and half points against a Baltimore team that can't score touchdown, hell I'd go with the Rams even if they had a Gus Frerotte starting on the road .. uhhh, guess I'm kinda stuck now
Rams
Minnesota +5 at Chicago
I like the Bears to win this one with a couple of scores on defense.
Bears
Cincinnati -3 at Kansas City
This is an interesting one - it's the classic, old Obvious Game Theory Modified By The Going With Vegas When They Don't Move the Line Even If More Than 80% Of The Public Are Betting One Way Theory... yes a true classic
Football_big_copy
Chiefs

Miami +4.5 @ Cleveland
Cleveland wins this one by three
Dolphins

Washington (+3) at GB

Hmm... uhhh.. I guess we'll go with the Skins.

Unfortunately we've been called away to Burma to deal with the situation there so we will have to rattle off the rest of the picks.

Houston (+6.5) at Jacksonville
Texans
New England -5.5 at Dallas

Patriots

Philadelphia (-3) at Jets

Eagles

Oakland (+9.5) at San Diego

Raiders

New Orleans +6.5 at Seattle

Saints

Tennessee (+3) at Tampa Bay

Titans

Monday
New York Giants  (-3.5) at  Atlanta

Falcons
